In Memory:

Sadly, my uncle, James Hinman, died September 12, 2007. I will greatly miss him. He was the historian for the Hinman Family for at least 15 years. Every once in a while he would call me and ask about something in the family line, which would send me off with researching.

James and Dorothy Hinman's ex-son-in-law, Charles "Charlie" Bailey was killed in a car accident on July 14, 2007.

We extend our sympathy to Dorothy and her family.

Hinman Family Reunion 2007

The Hinman Family Reunion for 2007 was held in Luana, Iowa at the bank. It was well attended and everyone had a great time. There was plenty of food, also. We had people from Virginia, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota and Wisconsin. We welcomed Zack Vlazny to the family as Brian adopted him. Zach was also a big help in getting the kitchen cleaned up. Thanks, Zack.

This is the first child born in our family since Kellie (Dean's daughter) was born. Also, the last 3 births were girls. 5 females to 7 males since 1947.
