George Wagner 116 years agao

From the Monona Outlook:

116 Years Ago --- Sept 24, 1896
Monona Leader

"Geo. Wagner sold 18 steers to Heiming Monday which brought $518.80. Pretty Good"

About $28.82 for each steer. I'm trying to decide if that is a good price or not.
